Probioksin No. 30 caps. PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC GROUP: Simbiotik. Drug for restoration of intestinal microflora PHARMAKOLOGICHEKY PROPERTIES: Simbiotik for maintenance of healthy microflora. Probioksin has the normalizing effect on intestinal microflora: (microbiocenosis) supports and regulates physiological balance of intestinal microflora and provides its physiological functions in intestines. The therapeutic effect of Probioksin is defined by live lactobacilli and bifidobacteria which act as antagonists in relation to a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. The lactobacilli which are Probioksin’s part produce milk and, to a lesser extent, acetic and propylene acid. The acidic environment created in intestines is adverse for development of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms the Lactobacilli participate in a resorption of monosaccharides, metabolism of bile acids, stabilize cell membranes of an intestinal epithelium and regulate absorption of electrolytes and synthesis of vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12, K, E, PP vitamins, ascorbic acid, biotin), create favorable conditions for absorption of iron, calcium, vitamin D.
