Metabolism – in a liver, forms dibromantranilovy acid and glucuronic conjugates. Elimination half-life – 1.3 hours, and for the prolonged forms – 10-12 hours. It is removed by kidneys: 90% in the form of water-soluble metabolites, in not changed look – 5%.
Elimination half-life increases in heavy chronic kidney disease, but does not change in an abnormal liver function.
The pharmacodynamics
Possesses sekretomotorny, sekretolitichesky and expectorant action, stimulates serous cells of glands of a mucous membrane of bronchial tubes, increases the content of mucous secretion and discharge of surfactant in alveoluses and bronchial tubes, normalizes the broken ratio of serous and mucous components of a phlegm. Activating the hydrolyzing enzymes and strengthening release of lysosomes from cells Klara, reduces viscosity of a phlegm. Increases physical activity of cilia of a ciliary epithelium, increases mukotsiliarny transport of a phlegm.

Indications
– acute and chronic bronchitis
– pneumonia
– a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

the Route of administration and doses
Inside.
To adults and children 12 years are more senior: on 30 mg (1 tablet) of 3 times/days.
If necessary for strengthening of therapeutic effect it is possible to appoint 60 mg (2 tablets) of 2 times/days.
Children are 6-12 years old – on 15 mg (half of a tablet) 2-3 times a day
Duration of a course of treatment is appointed by the doctor individually.
The drug is taken after a meal, washing down with liquid.

Side effects

– reactions of hypersensitivity (skin rash, a face edema, dispnoe, an itching)

Medicinal interactions
Combined use of the drug Sekrazol® with:
– the atropine and other drugs having anticholinergic effects, such as amantadin, tricyclic antidepressants, a haloperidol, blockers histamine H1 of receptors, and procaineamide, excepting ipratropium, suppressing activity of a ciliate epithelium and reducing mukotsiliarny clearance, can lead to secret accumulation
– the raised doses of antibechic drugs, leads to suppression of a tussive reflex, therefore, removal of the bronchial secret which is formed in bigger quantity under the influence of Ambroxol is at a loss.
It is not recommended to apply Sekrazol® with codeine or other antibechic drugs containing codeine.
At the combined use of Sekrazol® can enhance efficiency
of antibacterial agents (ampicillin, amoksitsiklin, etc.) increasing their penetration into a bronchial secret.

Special instructions
With care are appointed in an abnormal liver function or kidneys, motor dysfunction of bronchial tubes or at discharge of a large amount of secretion (because of threat of an accumulation of slime). In heavy abnormal liver functions and kidneys it is necessary to reduce a dosage or to increase intervals between receptions.
Pregnancy and the period of a lactation
In spite of the fact that there are no reliable data of negative influence of SekrazolA® on a fruit and babies, use of SekrazolA® in II and III trimesters of pregnancy and in the period of a lactation perhaps after the careful analysis of a ratio advantage/risk the attending physician so far.
The feature of influence of medicine on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms
Due to the possible developing of a headache to the patients accepting СЕКРАЗОЛ® should be careful during the driving of the car and occupations with other potentially dangerous types of activity, requiring special attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Overdose
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia.
Treatment: it is necessary to cause vomiting, to wash out a stomach in the first 1-2 hours after administration of drug, symptomatic therapy.

The form of release and packing
On 10 tablets place in blister strip packaging from a film of white PVH/PE/PVDH and printing aluminum foil.
On 2, 3 or 5 planimetric packs together with the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages place in a pack cardboard with the hologram of firm – producer.
