Drug for topical administration in ophthalmologic practice.
As the main component polyvinyl alcohol – plastic polymer which differs in a long time of an adherence to the surface of an eye contains, creates on the surface of an eye plastic, optically the clear film supplementing in the functional relation of a tear or them substitutes. When carrying contact lenses, drug promotes the best irrigation of plastic material natural tears, eliminates feeling of a foreign body and promotes the best shipping. Has the anti-inflammatory, detoksikatsionny and moistening properties.

The route of administration and doses

The average dose makes 1-2 drops 2-4 times a day. When using drug the contact lenses can be not removed.

Medicinal interactions
Some organic substances (resorcin, tannin) and inorganic matters (boric acid, sodium pyroborate, ammonium sulfate) can cause gelation of polyvinyl alcohol.
Special instructions

In cases when the patients using contact lenses store lenses in the solutions containing boric acid and sodium pyroborate (Opti-fri, Renya, etc.) is recommended to dig in eye drops of LAKRIMA not earlier than 2-4 hours after the lenses stored in such solutions were inserted into eyes.
With care – a sharp phase of a corrosive burn of a cornea and a conjunctiva (before full removal of toxics and nekrotizirovanny fabrics).
