Colourless, transparent uniform gel.
Pharmacological properties
Antiallergic action of Psilo-Balzama is connected with existence in its structure of a difengidramin of a hydrochloride which is a blocker of H1-histamine receptors and thereof quickly reduces an itching, reduces pain, hyperaemia, reduces hyperpermeability of capillaries, hypostasis of fabrics, causes local anesthesia. Psilo-Balzam possesses the pleasant cooling action. The special gel basis protects skin and does not leave a visible mark, it can be applied as skin cream.
Indications
In sunblisters and burns І degree, stings of insects, a small tortoiseshell, a skin itching of various origin, pruritic eczema, chicken pox, allergic irritations of skin (except for an itching at a cholestasia), the contact dermatitis caused by contact with plants.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to drug components. With care during pregnancy and a lactation (it is better to suspend breastfeeding).
The route of administration and doses
of Psilo-Balzam apply on affected areas of skin with a thin layer (23 g of gel) 34 times a day and distribute it easy spreading.
Side effect
In rare instances can be observed the reaction of hypersensitivity of skin which is shown in on - a krasneniya and moderate puffiness of the site of skin to which drug was applied. At external use of drug of side effects of system character it is noted.
Interaction with other medicines
Strengthens effect of alcohol and the drugs oppressing central nervous system. MAO inhibitors enhance anticholinergic activity of a difengidramin. Antagonistic interaction is noted at joint appointment with psychostimulants.
A release form
Gel of 1% in aluminum tubas on 20 and 50 g. Each tuba together with the instruction for use is placed in a pack.
Special instructions
during treatment by Psilo-Balzamom it is necessary to avoid solar radiation and alcohol intake and also it is necessary to be careful at the types of activity requiring special attention and fast mental reactions.
