Side effects
- it is possible: irritation of skin in the form of reddening, hypostasis, an itching on the site of application of medicine, skin allergic reactions (at long use).

Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to tar and a xeroform
- acute purulent diseases of skin and soft tissues (the abscessing furuncle, an anthrax, phlegmon, abscess, a hydradenitis, lymphadenitis, the festered atheroma, a lipoma, a paraproctitis, an empyema of a pleural cavity).

not to allow linimentum popadeniye in eyes, its reception inside. In case of an accidental popadeniye in eyes it is necessary to wash them with water and to see immediately a doctor. Linimentum has an unpleasant smell and leaves marks on clothes.
