Transparent, dense and viscous, colourless or slightly yellowish liquid. Slight smell, taste peculiar, unpleasant.
Pharmacotherapeutic group
Laxatives. Contact laxatives. Castor oil.

Pharmacological
Depletive of Plant Origin properties. At intake it is split by a lipase in a small intestine with formation of ricinoleic acid which causes irritation of receptors of intestines (on all its extent) and reflex strengthening of a vermicular movement. The laxative effect occurs usually in 5-6 h.
At intake of castor oil also reflex reduction of muscles of a uterus is observed.
Indications
- constipations
- as a part of ointments, balms for treatment of burns, wounds, ulcers
- for softening of skin
- removal of dandruff
- strengthening of hair
Outwardly apply the Route of administration and doses in ointments, balms to treatment of burns, ulcers apply on affected areas of skin.
Appoint inside the adult 15 – 30 g, and to children for 5-10-15 (1 tea, dessert or a tablespoon) to reception. To accept as laxative no more than 3 days.
Side effects
- an abdominal pain
- nausea
- rush of blood to bodies of a small pelvis
- at repeated use are possible digestion disturbance,

- poisonings with fat-soluble substances (phosphorus, benzene, etc.)

- an acute appendicitis
- a typhoid, intestinal bleedings, an intestines atony
- adhesive deseases of intestines

On 30 g in bottles from glass melt with a screw mouth corked by traffic jams polyethylene and the screwed covers or covers polyethylene with sealing elements is not revealed. Bottles together with iinstruktion on medical use in the state and Russian languages in the corresponding quantity stack in feet from brown paper or in a box of cardboard bandbox either a film polyethylene thermoshrinkable or boxes from corrugated fibreboard.
To Store storage conditions in the place protected from light, at a temperature not higher than 25 wasps.
To protect from children!
