Also gram-positive microorganisms are sensitive to Tsipromed: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus pyogenes, St. Agalactiae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Listeria monocitogenes. Drug malotoksichen.
Indications
Tsipromed is applied locally to treatment of the acute or chronic infectious diseases of an ear caused by microorganisms, sensitive to ciprofloxacin:
- otitis external (inflammation of external acoustical pass)
- acute and chronic average otitis
- prevention of infectious otitises before surgical interventions, in an ear injury, the extraction of a foreign body from external acoustical pass which is followed by damage of tissues of ear
the Route of administration and doses
Before use of ear drops tsipromed should be carried out sanitation of external acoustical pass (to wash out and drain external acoustical pass).
Drug is dug in for adults on 4 drops in an ear by 2 times a day.
On 3 drops of Tsipromed in an ear 2 times a day for children. Drops have to be warm (to have body temperature). It is necessary to lay down on one side or to throw back the head to facilitate burying. To dig the specified quantity of drops in external acoustical pass. To allow drops to flow down in acoustical pass, having delayed an ear lobe down and back. To keep the head in the thrown-back situation about 2 minutes. It is possible to place a cotton plug in external acoustical pass.
After disappearance of symptoms of a disease the use of drug should be continued within the next 48 hours.
Side effects
Local:
- pain and an itching of ears, congestion of an ear, superinfection
- at some patients are development of fungal infections
- the spasms connected with topical administration of Tsipromed ear drops
System:
- nausea, an abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting
- a headache and dizziness, confusion of consciousness, a hallucination
- lengthening of an interval of QT
- interstitial nephrite and renal concrements
- rash and photosensitivity
- reactions of hypersensitivity
- change on laboratory indicators: temporary increase in liver enzymes or serumal creatinine
