Treatment duration.

Oral hormonal contraceptives

Amoxicillin can temporarily lower the level of estrogen and progesterone in plasma and can reduce efficiency of oral contraceptives. Therefore it is recommended to take an additional non-hormonal birth control.

At high concentrations of amoxicillin the glycemia level in blood plasma can decrease.
