Dekspantenol Pharmacokinetics properties is an alcohol analog of pantothenic acid and has the same biological efficiency thanks to intermediate conversion. It is limited to the right rotating D-configuration. Pantothenic acid is the water-soluble vitamin which is taking part in many metabolic processes as A.V coenzyme experiments of in vitro the increased proliferation of fibroblasts is proved. After administration of drug with deficit of a dekspantenol the trophic effect on skin is revealed. After topical administration dekspantenol it is capable to compensate the increased need of the injured skin or mucous membranes for pantothenic acid. As showed researches with use marked panthenol hyzone, substance is absorbed by skin.
Pharmacodynamics
cornea Protector. Stimulates processes of regeneration of a cornea. Has anti-inflammatory effect.

- burns of eyes
- a keratitis of various etiology
- dystrophic diseases of a cornea
- prevention of damages of a cornea when carrying contact lenses
dig in the Route of administration and doses On 1 drop in a conjunctival sac 3-5 times a day and in addition before going to bed. Duration of treatment is determined by the attending physician.
Side effects
Irritation of a mucous membrane of eyes:
- reddening
- misting of sight
- pain
- feeling of a foreign body
- the increased lachrymation, an itching, burning
- conjunctival hypostasis
- allergic reactions: the itching of skin, urtikarny rash
If side effects proceed more than 30 minutes or symptoms sharp and long, it is necessary to consult with the doctor.
Generally reaction temporary and insignificant.

Medicinal interactions
it is not established So far. In case of simultaneous use of Korneregelya® and other eye drops / ointments it is necessary, at least the 15-minute break between their use at the same time Korneregel® should be applied always the last.
Preservative tsetrimid which, especially at frequent or long use, can cause irritation of a mucous membrane of eyes (burning, reddening, feeling of a foreign body) contains the special instructions Korneregel® and to injure a cornea epithelium. For long-term treatment of the chronic dry kerato-konjyuktivit it is necessary to use drug without addition of preservatives. It is not necessary to use Korneregel® at the put-on contact lenses owing to probable incompatibility of drug with material of lenses.
Before burying gel the contact lenses should remove and be not to put on earlier, than in 15 minutes.
In order to avoid pollution of a tip doser and gel it is necessary not to allow their contacts with centuries, skin around eyes and other surfaces.
Pregnancy and the period of a lactation
of Korneregel® should not be applied during pregnancy and a lactation, except for cases when, according to the doctor, the expected advantage exceeds potential risk.
Use in pediatrics
Is not present sufficient experience of use of drug for children up to 18 years, in this regard use for children up to 18 years is not recommended.
Features of influence of medicine on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms
Considering side effects of drug and their influence on speed of reaction, it is necessary to refrain from driving of vehicles and control of other potentially dangerous mechanisms before recovery of sight to norm.
