Clenzit-C MS Gel (Adapalene + Clindamycin) 30 g
- $48.00
What is Clenzit-C MS Gel?
Clenzit-C MS Gel is a topical anti-acne medicine used on the skin to help manage acne-prone areas.
It contains two active ingredients: adapalene microspheres and clindamycin.
Adapalene supports skin cell renewal and helps prevent blocked pores, while clindamycin is an antibacterial ingredient used in acne care.
This gel is intended for external use only and is applied in a thin layer to clean, dry skin.
Clenzit-C MS Gel may be suitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years old when used as directed. It is designed for localized application on affected skin and should not be used on damaged, sunburned, or irritated areas.
What is Clenzit-C MS Gel used for?
Clenzit-C MS Gel is used for acne, also known as acne vulgaris. It is part of dermatological anti-acne treatments for topical use and combines an anti-acne retinoid with an antibacterial ingredient.
How should Clenzit-C MS Gel be applied?
Apply a thin layer of Clenzit-C MS Gel once daily at night to clean, dry, affected skin. Wash hands before and after use. Avoid applying excessive amounts, as using more gel will not improve results faster and may increase irritation.
During the first weeks of use, acne may appear to worsen. This can happen because the medicine acts on clogged pores and early acne lesions that were not yet visible.
Who should not use Clenzit-C MS Gel?
Do not use Clenzit-C MS Gel in cases of hypersensitivity to adapalene, clindamycin, lincomycin, or any ingredient in the formula.
It should not be used by children under 12 years old, during pregnancy, or while breastfeeding.
This gel is also contraindicated in people with regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or a history of antibiotic-associated colitis.
What precautions are important while using Clenzit-C MS Gel?
Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, corners of the nose, skin around the eyes, and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Do not apply the gel to cuts, abrasions, eczema-affected skin, sunburned skin, burns, or other damaged areas. Avoid excessive sunlight and ultraviolet exposure, including tanning lamps, because the skin may become more sensitive.
Wind, cold weather, and harsh skin products may increase irritation. Avoid combining this gel with abrasive cleansers, drying cosmetics, perfumes, alcohol-containing products, sulfur, resorcinol, or salicylic acid unless advised by a healthcare professional.
What side effects may occur?
Common side effects may include dry skin, redness, burning sensation, irritation, itching, peeling, discomfort, and temporary worsening of acne. Less common reactions may include contact dermatitis, sunburn, skin soreness, swelling, or eyelid irritation.
Clindamycin may rarely be associated with diarrhea or colitis. Stop using the gel and seek medical guidance if severe diarrhea, abdominal cramps, or bloody stool occurs.
