The pharmacodynamics
the Drug Iberogast possesses versatile action. It renders the effect modulating a tone of smooth muscles of digestive tract. First of all components of a candytuft of bitter (Iberis amara) and a celandine at the lowered tone and the lowered motility in a pylorus have tonic, pro-kinetic effect. At stomach spasms in a bottom/body first of all an angelica pharmaceutical, the thistle and a licorice have spasmolytic effect.
Iberogast increases concentration of prostaglandins and mucins protecting a mucous membrane, reduces concentration of leukotrienes, toxic for a mucous membrane, reduces production of gastric juice in obkladochny cells and can counteract the symptoms caused by effect of hydrochloric acid, for example, to heartburn. Iberogast 5 lipoxygenases, to carminative, anti-oxidizing and antibacterial actions possess anti-inflammatory action thanks to effect of braking.
In an experiment of in vitro inhibits growth of 6 subspecies of Helicobacter pylori.

Indications

A route of administration and doses.
Iberogast accept 3 times a day to or at meal time with a small amount of liquid:
adults and teenagers on 20 drops,
to children are from 6 to 12 years on 15 drops,
to children from 3 to 6 years on 10 drops
Duration of use depends on a look, weight and the course of the disease.
