active agent: Mucaltinum (in terms of dry matter with the maintenance of neutral monosaccharides of 14.7%) – 50 mg,
excipients: Natrii hydrocarbonas, citric acid monohydrate, calcium stearate, sakharastvorafinad or granulated sugar.

of the Tablet of color, gray or gray with a brownish shade, with impregnations, with a biconvex surface.

Mucaltinum properties envelops a mucous membrane of a bronchial tree and renders anti-inflammatory effect, facilitates advance of a phlegm from the airways, lower in upper parts, and its expectoration at the expense of irritation of receptors of a stomach and reflex strengthening of the peristaltic movement of bronchioles and activity of a ciliary epithelium. Being soaked up after intake, Mucaltinum stimulates neurons of the emetic and respiratory centers, reflex strengthening secretion of bronchial glands, and reduces viscosity of a phlegm.
Indications
- expectorant in acute and chronic diseases of upper airways (bronchitis, pneumonia, a bronchoectatic disease, bronchial asthma, a pulmonary tuberculosis with the phenomena of nonspecific bronchitis) in complex therapy.
The route of administration and doses
accept Mucaltinum inside to food. Mucaltinum of a tablet is appointed to adults and children from 6 years on 1 - 2 tablets 3 - 4 times a day. Children can dissolve a tablet in 1/3 glasses of warm water, adding sweet syrup.
Duration of treatment is defined by the attending physician.
Side effects
- allergic reactions in the form of a small tortoiseshell, an itching of skin.
If by-effects arise, then it is necessary to stop administration of drug.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to active agent and to drug components
- children's age up to 6 years
- a peptic ulcer of a stomach and a 12-perstny gut

Special instructions
Sometimes at treatment of patients with chronic inflammatory diseases of lungs in the first days of treatment of Mucaltinum the viscosity of a phlegm increases that is caused by department of the phlegm which collected in a bronchial tree containing a large number of a detritis, proteins and inflammatory elements. At diffusion damage of bronchial tubes, significant changes in physical and chemical properties of a phlegm and decrease in mukotsiliarny transport the combination of Mucaltinum and mucolytic drugs is necessary (Bromhexine, Acetylcysteinum and/or proteolytic enzymes. Mucaltinum should not be applied along with the drugs containing codeine and other anti-inflammatory drugs as it complicates expectoration of the diluted phlegm.
Overdose
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting.
Treatment: symptomatic therapy.
A form of release and packing
On 30 tablets in banks of medicines, polymeric for packing, corked by covers with control of the first opening. After 1 bank together with the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages put in a pack from cardboard. On 10 tablets in planimetric bezjyacheykovy package with the paper laminated by polyethylene.
To Store storage conditions in the dry, protected from light place at a temperature from 8 °C to 15 °C.
To store out of children's reach!
