Structure
One tablet contains
active agents: amylmetacresol - 0.60 mg,
alcohol 2.4-dichlorbenzylic - 1.20 mg,
left menthol – 8.00 mg,
excipients: eucalyptus oil, indigo carmine (E 132), tartaric acid, sucrose liquid, glucose liquid.
The description
of the Tablet for resorption menthol and eucalyptus, round shape, blue color with characteristic taste, with an engraving of the graphic representation of the logo of Strepsils on both parties.
The white plaque, unevenness of coloring, existence of vials of air in caramel weight and insignificant roughness of edges is allowed.

2.4-dichlorbenzyl alcohol is derivative benzene, antiseptics. Amilmetakrezol – derivative phenol, antiseptics, has antimicrobial activity. The mechanism of effect of 2.4-dichlorbenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol is connected with coagulation of proteins of microbic and fungal cells and also with interaction with lipids of cellular membranes that defines efficiency against activators.
Active components of drug are caused by local antiseptic and mestnoanesteziruyushchy effect. Drug eliminates symptoms of irritation of mucous membranes of upper airways and an oral cavity, feeling of a foreign body, irritation, a sadneniye in a drink, has dekongestivny effect on a mucous membrane, reduces congestion of a nose, alleviates irritation and a sore throat.
Drug is active concerning a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms: the majority of strains of staphylococcus (S. epidermidis, S. pyogenes, S. aureus, S. salivarius), streptococci of groups A, C and D, Diplococcus pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aerogenosa, Klebsiella aerogenes, Haemophilus influenzae, Proteus spp., Aerobacter aerogenes, Aerobacter cloacae, etc. and also possesses antimikotchesky action concerning yeast-like mushrooms of Candida albicans.
Indications
- symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat.
A route of administration and doses
For resorption in an oral cavity.
Adults: to rassasyvat slowly on one tablet each 2-3 hours. Not to take more than 12 pill within 24 hours. Course of treatment of 5-7 days.
People of advanced age: people of advanced age have no need for reduction of a dose.

On 12 tablets place in blister strip packaging from a film of PVH/PVDH and aluminum foil.
On 2 or 3 planimetric packs together with the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages put in a pack from cardboard.
To Store storage conditions in the dry place at a temperature not above 25 °C.
To store drug out of children's reach!
