Structure
of 1 grams of ointment contains
active agent - Phenylephrinum a hydrochloride of 2.5 mg,
excipients: mineral oil, white petroleum butter (vaseline), methylparahydroxybenzoate, propilparagidroksibenzoat, lanolin anhydrous, benzoic acid, corn oil, glycerin, alcohol lanolin, hard paraffin, the water purified, oil thyme, alpha tocopherol (vitamin E), wax white.

Yellow ointment without foreign particles.
Pharmacotherapeutic group
Vasoprotectives. Means for treatment of hemorrhoids and anal cracks for topical administration. Other means for treatment of hemorrhoids and anal cracks for topical administration.

Pharmacological properties
of Fenilefrin a hydrochloride is adrenomimetiky, has local vasoconstrictive effect that promotes reduction of exudation, puffiness, an itching and serous discharges in hemorrhoids and other diseases of an anorectal zone.
Vaseline and mineral oil – the safe basis of ointment, has the softening and enveloping effect.
The drug Relif has the calming effect in the itching, burning, discomfort connected with hemorrhoids.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment:
– external and internal hemorrhoids
– cracks, an erosion and microtraumas of an anus
– an anal itching
the Route of administration and doses
to use Drug after holding hygienic procedures.
Before use of ointment it is necessary to blot with wet towel wipes an affected area. For administration of ointment in a rectum it is necessary to remove a protective cap from the applicator, to attach the applicator to a tuba and to carefully squeeze out ointment from a tuba. Having well greased the applicator, to carefully enter it into a rectum. Ointment is applied also to skin in an anus.
After each use carefully to disinfect the applicator and to put on him a protective cap.
Drug is used to 4 times a day (in the morning, for the night and after each bowel emptying). Duration of a course of treatment – 7-10 days.
Side effect
Is rare: allergic reactions: burning, hyperaemia, skin rashes in an anus,
in isolated cases:
- reflex bradycardia, arrhythmia,
- dizziness, nervousness, the repeating headaches, a tremor, insomnia.
Contraindications
– the increased individual sensitivity to any of drug components
– a clotting disease
– a granulocytopenia
– children's age up to 12 years
Medicinal interactions
it is not necessary to take the Drug along with inhibitors of a monoaminooxidase (MAO), tricyclic antidepressants, antihypertensive drugs (ß-adrenoblockers).
Special instructions
In cases of plentiful bloody discharges from an anus or at preservation of painful symptoms more than 7 days it is necessary to consult in addition with the proctologist.
Before use of drug consult with the doctor if at you: arterial hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, diseases of a thyroid gland, closed-angle glaucoma, diabetes, pancreatitis, hepatitis, the complicated urination because of blocking (for example, a prostate hypertrophy).
It is not necessary to use the applicator if its introduction to a rectum causes pain.
Pregnancy and a lactation
during pregnancy and a lactation the use of drug is possible only after careful assessment of a ratio advantage / risk both for mother, and for a fruit or the child.
Features of influence on ability to run transport or potentially dangerous mechanisms
the Overdose
Symptoms does not influence: burning, hyperaemia.
Treatment: drug withdrawal and symptomatic treatment.
A form of release and packing
of 28.4 g of drug in the laminated tuba with a plastic cover.
On 1 tuba together with the applicator and the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages place in a cardboard box.
To Store storage conditions at a temperature not above 25 °C.
To store out of children's reach!
Period of storage
2 years.
Not to use after the expiration date specified on packing.
