Structure
One tablet contains
active agent:
dry extract of leaves of an ivy (5-7.5:1) – 65.000 mg excipients:
anhydrous citric acid, Natrii hydrocarbonas, sodium carbonate anhydrous, Mannitolum, simetikon, sodium saccharin, sodium cyclomate, sodium citrate, sorbitol, triglycerides, makrogolglitserolgidroksistearat, fragrance orange.
(1 sparkling tablet contains 0.382 mg of carbohydrates = 0.03 grain units).

Round brownish tablets with impregnations, with risky on one party with taste and a smell of orange.

Pharmacological properties
Has expectorant, antibechic and spasmolytic effect. Reduces viscosity of a phlegm and facilitates its otkhozhdeniye.
Indications
as symptomatic means in complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of upper airways and lungs.
The route of administration and doses
Adults and children are more senior than 12 years – 2 times a day on 1 sparkling tablet (there correspond 130 mg of dry extract of leaves of an ivy a day), children from 4th to 12 years – 3 times a day on ½ sparkling tablet (there correspond 97.5 mg of dry extract of leaves of an ivy a day).
Sparkling tablets can be divided.
Sparkling tablets dissolve in one glass of water (about 100-200 ml) and accept in the morning, (during the lunchtime) and in the evening. For dissolution it is possible to use cold or hot water.
Reception duration.
In mild cases – the minimum course of treatment has to make 1 week. For fixing of therapeutic effect it is recommended to continue after disappearance of symptoms of a disease treatment within 1-3 days.
Side effects
Are possible allergic reactions to drug components. Sensitive people can have stomach aches.

Prospan Tabletki sparkling for cough does not contain alcohol.
As adsorbent for an extract therapeutic of effective extract of an ivy it is used 30 about. % of ethanol which in the course of drying completely is removed subsequently from extract.
One sparkling tablet contains 6.58 mmol (or 151.33 mg) sodium. If you have to keep to a diet with the lowered salt content, you should consider it.
Fragrance contains lactose. One sparkling tablet contains 29.7 mg of lactose. Before administration of drug of Prospan of a tablet sparkling for cough, you should consult with the doctor if you know of intolerance you sugar.
Pregnancy and the period of a lactation
According to the standard principles, it is possible to use drug during pregnancy and in the period of a lactation only after objective assessment of a ratio between the expected useful effect and possible risk for mother and the child.
Influence on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms
Use of drug does not influence ability to run motor transport or potentially dangerous mechanisms.
The overdose
Administration of drug in the quantities exceeding a triple day dose can make sick, vomiting and diarrhea.
Treatment is symptomatic.
A form of release and packing
On 2 tablets in a strip from the paper covered with aluminum foil.
On 5 strips together with the instruction for use in the state and Russian languages place in a folding cardboard box.
To Store storage conditions at a temperature not above 25 °C.
To store out of children's reach.
