Structure
1 ml of drug contains
active agent - an ivy of leaves extract dry
- 20 mg
excipients: sodium saccharin, ethanol of 96%, aniseed oil,
fennel oil, a peppermint oil, water
the Liquid of dark brown color purified the Description with a smell of alcohol and fennel, is allowed turbidity, and dark suspenzirovanny parts and/or a deposit
Pharmacotherapeutic group
Drugs for elimination of symptoms of cold and cough can contain. The expectorant
drugs ATX R05CA Code Pharmacological Properties
In clinical trial the broncholitic effect of drug was noted. Researches on animals showed spasmolytic activity of drug. The expectorant effect of drug is caused by stimulation of mucous membranes of a stomach by reflex stimulation of mucous glands of bronchial tubes through parasympathetic touch fibers.
Indications
- symptomatic treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of bronchial tubes
- the acute inflammatory respiratory diseases which are followed by cough
the Route of administration and doses
the Adult and to children are more senior than 10 years appoint 24 drops (50.4 mg of dry extract of leaves of an ivy) 3 times a day, to children aged from 4 do10 years - 16 drops (33.6 mg of dry extract of leaves of an ivy) 3 times a day and to children aged from 1 up to 4 years - 12 drops (25.2 mg of dry extract of leaves of an ivy) 3 times a day.
Drops should be accepted before meal. For small children and teenagers it is recommended to accept drops together with a number of fruit juice.
Duration of treatment is defined in each case by character and disease severity, however even in slight inflammatory respiratory diseases it has to be not less than a week.
Besides, for achievement of lasting therapeutic effect the treatment by means of drug is recommended to continue 2-3 more days after disappearance of symptoms of a disease.
Side effects
- very seldom (with a frequency (& lt, 1/10,000) arise allergic reactions (suffocation, a Quincke's edema, erubescence, an itching)
- not often (with a frequency of ≥1/1,000 - & lt, 1/100) arise gastrointestinal disorders (vomiting, nausea, diarrhea)
of the Contraindication
- hypersensitivity to drug or any other component
of drug
- persons to whom reception even of the minimum quantities of alcohol is strictly forbidden (including after the end of treatment)
- children's age till 1 year
Medicinal interactions
Researches on interaction were not conducted. Any interactions of drug are still not known.
Contains the special instructions Drug 47 about. alcohol %.
Does not contain some sugar, preservatives and dyes.
In the course of storage perhaps easy turbidity of liquid, formation of a deposit and minor changes of taste that does not influence therapeutic effect of drug.
Use during pregnancy and a lactation.
During pregnancy or feeding by a breast the drug is taken only after careful assessment by the doctor of a ratio advantage for mother/risk for a fruit (child).
Features of influence of medicine on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms.
The Overdose
Symptoms does not influence: reception of the dose considerably exceeding the ordered daily dose (it is more, than by 3 times), can make sick, vomiting and diarrhea.
Treatment: symptomatic, the patient has to see a doctor.
A form of release and packing
On 20 ml of drug in the bottle from dark glass corked by a polyethylene stopper - a dropper. The bottle is closed the white polypropylene screw-on cover.
On 1 bottle together with the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages put in a pack from cardboard.
To Store storage conditions at a temperature not over 25 of 0C.
To store out of children's reach!
