Antibacterial drug from group of ftorkhinolon. Possesses a wide range of bactericidal action. Inhibits DNK-girazu enzyme of bacteria owing to what DNA replication and synthesis of cellular proteins of bacteria is broken.
It is highly active concerning gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Proteus spp. (indolpositive and indolnegative), Morganella morganii, Citrobacter spp., Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., Yersinia enterocolitica, Vibrio spp., Campylobacter spp., Hafnia spp., Providencia stuartii, Haemophilus influenzae, Pasteurella multocida, Pseudomonas spp., Gardnerella spp., Legionella pneumophila, Neisseria spp., Moraxella catarrhalis, Acinetobacter spp., Brucella spp., Chlamydia spp.
It is active concerning gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Listeria monocitogenes.
Indications
Treatment of acute and chronic infectious and inflammatory diseases of the eyes and ears caused by microorganisms, sensitive to drug:
- conjunctivitis (including gonococcal),
- a keratoconjunctivitis
- a corneal ulcer
- blepharitis
- blefarokonjyunktivit a keratitis
- external otitis
- acute and chronic average otitis
- internal otitis
- an infectious eustachitis
Prevention of infections of eyes after removal of a foreign body from a cornea or a conjunctiva, after damage by chemical or physical means, before surgical interventions.
Prevention of infectious otitises before surgical interventions, in the ear injuries, extraction of a foreign body from external acoustical pass which are followed by damage of tissues of ear.
The route of administration and doses
Appoint 1-2 drops in the affected eye or an ear 4 times a day. In need of the first day of use the dose can be increased up to 1-2 drops in each 2 h. The course of treatment is defined by the attending physician. After disappearance of symptoms of a disease the use of drug should be continued during the subsequent 48 h.
Before instillation in an ear of drops of Normaks it is necessary to carry out sanitation of external acoustical pass. Drops have to have body temperature. The patient has to lay down on one side or throw back the head to facilitate burying. After burying it is necessary to allow drops to flow down in acoustical pass, having delayed an ear lobe down and back. It is necessary to keep the head in the specified provision of about 2 min. It is possible to place a cotton turunda in external acoustical pass.
Side effects
- anorexia, nausea, heartburn, an abdominal pain, diarrhea
- a headache, dizziness, feeling of fatigue, sleep disorder, irritability, feeling of alarm
- allergic reactions: skin rash, an itching, a Quincke's edema
- interstinal nephrite

- hypersensitivity to components of drug or to other ftorkhinolona
- pregnancy, the lactation period
- the children's and teenage age up to 18 years
Medicinal interactions
of Normaks is incompatible with medicines with value rn 3-4 which physically or are chemically unstable.
Special instructions
during treatment the patients have to receive enough liquid (under control of a diuresis). During therapy the increase in the prothrombin ratio (when performing surgical interventions it is necessary to control a condition of a system of fibrillation) is possible. During treatment it is necessary to avoid impact of direct sunlight.
With care to apply in atherosclerosis of vessels of a brain, disturbance of cerebral circulation, epilepsy, a convulsive syndrome of other etiology, a renal, liver failure.
The feature of influence on ability to run the vehicle and other potentially dangerous mechanisms
needs to be careful at the driving of the car and other types of work demanding the increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (especially at the simultaneous use of ethanol).
Overdose
Symptoms: at accidental reception of drops the nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, a headache, dizziness, feeling of alarm are inside possible.
Treatment: symptomatic therapy, ensuring sufficient intake of liquid in an organism, creation of acid reaction of urine for prevention of a crystalluria.

Ponzalkoniya's packing chloride of 5 ml in plastic bottles or in bottles from dark glass with the screwing-up cover. On 1 bottle together with the instruction for use in the state and Russian languages place in a pack from cardboard.
