Pharmacokinetics Lomeksin properties is practically not exposed to system absorption, at prolonged vaginal use, its concentration in blood is not defined. Extent of absorption by mucous membranes is extremely insignificant.
Lomeksin's pharmacodynamics - antifungal drug of a broad spectrum of activity for topical administration in gynecology. Fentikonazol (active ingredient of Lomeksin) is to synthetic derivatives of an imidazole (its racemic mix in the form of nitrate salt of a fentikonazol). Renders local fungicide, fungistatic, antibacterial action. The mechanism of action consists in inhibition of synthesis of the ergosterol regulating permeability of a cellular membrane of mushrooms. It is active concerning barmy mushrooms of Candida spp. (including Candida albicans), gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp.) and also concerning Trichomonas vaginalis.

The route of administration and doses

Capsules vaginal 600 mg - one capsule enter deeply into a vagina in a prone position before going to bed once. If symptoms remain, perhaps repeated use of one capsule in 3 days.
Capsules vaginal 1000 mg - one capsule enter deeply into a vagina in a prone position before going to bed once.
In the trichomoniasis and multi-infections caused by Trichomonas vaginalis and Candida albicans perhaps repeated use of one capsule in 24 hours.
In candidiasis - if symptoms remain, perhaps repeated use of one capsule in 3 days.
In order to avoid a reinfitsirovaniye it is recommended to carry out at the same time treatment of the partner by cream (Lomeksin, cream of vaginal 2%) which is applied on a balanus and a prepuce.
Side effects
