One pastil contains
active agent - the Icelandic moss extract water (2 - 4: 1) 100.00 mg,
excipients: arabic gum of 85%, sorbitol solution of 70% (without crystallization), sorbitol solution of 70% from extract, aspartame, peppermint oil, chlorophyllin copper E 141 complex, liquid paraffin, the water purified.
The description
Flat, unevenly roundish, lenticular, green rezinoobraz-ny pastils with taste of a peppermint, 4.6 mm high - 0.6 mm / +1.4mm, with a diameter of 16.0 mm & plusmn, 0.5 mm. May contain vials of air

Isla-Mint of a pastil contains In drug herb extract the Icelandic moss which at the time of ancient civilizations was well known the favorable therapeutic action in inflammatory respiratory diseases.
The medical effect of drug Isla-Mint of a pastil in catarrhal respiratory diseases is based first of all on antimicrobic activity and immunopromoting effect of the plant extract which is contained in it that is proved by results of scientific research. The polysaccharides which are contained in drug envelop mucous membranes of pneumatic ways and effectively protect them from action of harmful external factors and different irritants. As drug possesses also the enveloping action, it can be applied also in the preventive purposes, for example, at special sensitivity of airways or at increased load on them (including at sports activities).
When there is a danger of cold, preventive use of drug Isla-Mint of a pastil, capable to protect mucous membranes, can reduce susceptibility of airways to different infections.
Indications
- the inflammatory diseases of upper airways which are followed by dry cough, hoarseness, a catarrhal bronchitis as a part of complex therapy in bronchial asthma
- increased load on phonatory bands at singers, teachers, lecturers
- dryness of mucous membranes of upper airways in inhabited and office rooms during the heating period and also at limited nasal breath or during the sports occupations
the Route of administration and doses
Adults and children are more senior than 12 years: to accept on 1 pastil each hour (up to 12 pastils a day), allowing them to be dissolved slowly in a mouth.
Children from 4 to 12 years: to accept on 1 pastil each 2 hours (up to 6 pastils a day), allowing them to be dissolved slowly in a mouth.
Course of treatment of 10 days. If in 10 days of use of drug of improvement of a state did not follow, it is necessary to consult with the doctor.
In a type of good tolerance of tolerance of medicine Isla-Mint pastils can be applied for a long time. Besides, even after elimination of symptoms of a disease Isla-Mint it is necessary to accept 2-3 more days for achievement of lasting therapeutic effect.
With the preventive purpose for protection of airways at increased load on them (feeling of irritation in a throat or increased load, for example, the speech, sport) Isla-Mint to take the drug on 1 pastil several times in day, allowing them to be dissolved slowly in a mouth, without exceeding at the same time the maximum daily dose.
