Pharmacological action:
Hypoazotemic means. Has hepatoprotective effect. Utilizes ammonium groups in urea synthesis (ornitinovy cycle), reduces concentration of ammonia in plasma. Contributes to normalization of BRAIDS of an organism. Action is based on participation in an ornitinovy cycle of a mochevinoobrazovaniye (ureapoiesis from ammonia). Promotes production of insulin and STG. Indications:
Giperammoniyemiya, hepatitis, cirrhosis, hepatic encephalopathy, a hepatic coma, an alcoholic hepatosis, dynamic studying function of a hypophysis, proteinaceous insufficiency (at the patients who are on parenteral nutrition), a renal failure. Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, renal failure (creatinine more than 3 mg / 100 ml), lactation period. With care. Pregnancy. Side effects:
Allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting. Route of administration and doses:
Inside, in oil, in/in (struyno, by drop infusion). Inside, on 3-6 g 3 times a day after a meal. Parenterally, previously dissolving 2 g in 10 ml of water for injections: in oil - on 2-6 g/days. In/in struyno - on 2-4 g/days, frequency rate of introduction - 1-2 times a day. If necessary - in/in by drop infusion: 25-50 g of drug dissolve in 0.5-1.5 l 0.9% of NaCl solution, 5% of solution of a dextrose or the distilled water. The maximum speed of infusion - 40 caps/min. Duration of treatment is defined by dynamics of concentration of ammonia in blood and a condition of the patient. It is possible to repeat a course of treatment each 2-3 months. Special instructions:
