Pharmacokinetics Due to properties low system absorption data on pharmacokinetics of drug are absent.
The pharmacodynamics
Renders the local irritative, distracting, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action. Menthol at rubbing in in skin causes the irritation of nerve terminations which is followed by feeling of cold, pricking and easy burning. Renders weak local anesthetic and antiseptic action.
Camphor at topical administration possesses irritant action and weak antiseptic activity.
Turpentine oil has the effect local irritating, distracting and has antiseptic properties. The distracting effect of turpentine oil is connected with ability to get through epidermis and to cause reflex changes in result of irritation of receptors of skin in an organism.
Eucalyptus oil at rubbing in in skin has weak local anti-inflammatory and antiseptic activity.
Methyl-isopropyl phenol at topical administration has antiseptic action.
Muscat oil has antiseptic properties.
Indications
- symptomatic therapy of the acute respiratory diseases which are followed by cold, feeling of congestion of a nose
- muscular pains, dorsodynias
- a headache
the Route of administration and doses
Only for external use!
For adults and children 2 years are more senior a small amount of ointment is caused with a thin layer 2-3 times a day:
- in cold or congestion of a nose ointment is applied to skin of wings of a nose
- in muscle, back pains ointment is applied on painful area. For achievement of the best result it is necessary to cover painful area with a warm bandage
- in a headache ointment is applied to skin of the temporal
Course of treatment area no more than 5-7 days.
Side effects
- allergic reactions
- a laryngospasm, a bronchospasm
Seldom:
- development of the spasms caused by effect of camphor

- hypersensitivity to drug components
- damages of integuments, presence of skin diseases on sites of intended application of drug
- children's age up to 2 years

instructions Avoid Ointment Hit in eyes, on mucous membranes of a nose and an oral cavity and also on the damaged sites of skin.
