- Hyperammonemia: Adults and children over 12 years should take two 200 mg tablets (total 400 mg) every 8 hours.

Alfa Normix® tablets should be taken orally with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food. The treatment duration is determined by a healthcare provider and typically should not exceed 7 days unless otherwise directed.

Contraindications
