Structure
of 1 g of cream contains
active agent – ketokonazol 20 mg.
excipients: propylene glycol, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, polysorbate 80, an isopropyl myristate, sodium sulfite anhydrous, the water purified.

Pharmacokinetics Concentration properties of a ketokonazol was not defined in blood plasma after local drawing on skin НИЗОРАЛ® of cream of 2%.
In a research at children with seborrheal dermatitis in which about 40 g НИЗОРАЛ® of cream of 2% applied daily on the surface of skin more than 40% from a body surface the concentration of a ketokonazol in plasma decided on participation and made from 32 to 133 ng/ml.
At repeated use for children of cream in large numbers (more than 3 g) there is a probability of emergence of medicinal interactions – inhibition of metabolism of drugs, metaboliziruyemy CYP3A4 system enzymes, in particular a tsisaprida, strengthening of allergic reactions is also possible.
A pharmacodynamics
Ketokonazol – synthetic derivative an imidazoldioksolana, possessing fungicide or mikostatichesky action against dermatophytes, such as Trichophyton sp., Epidermophyton floccosum and Microsporum sp., and against yeast, especially against Malassezia spp.
НИЗОРАЛ® cream of 2% very quickly influences an itching in dermatophyte and barmy infections, at the same time symptomatic improvement is observed even before emergence of the first signs of recovery.

Indications
the Dermatofitovy infections of skin caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum:
– a dermatomycosis of smooth skin
– an inguinal epidermophitia
– an epidermophitia of brushes and feet
– skin candidiasis
– a chromophytosis
– the seborrheal dermatitis caused by presence of the Malassezia furfur activator.

Route of administration and doses
skin Candidiasis, dermatomycosis of smooth skin, inguinal epidermophitia, epidermophitia of brushes and feet, chromophytosis:
it is recommended to apply НИЗОРАЛ® cream to the affected skin and the area which is directly adjoining to it once a day.
Seborrheal dermatitis:
НИЗОРАЛ® cream is applied on the struck area one or twice a day depending on weight of defeat.
It is necessary to continue treatment during a sufficient period, at least, within several days after disappearance of all symptoms of a disease. The diagnosis should be revised if clinical improvement after 4 weeks of treatment is not noted. It is necessary to observe general measures of hygiene for control of sources of an infection and reinfection.
Usual duration of treatment following:
a chromophytosis – 2-3 weeks, barmy infections – 2-3 weeks, an inguinal epidermophitia – 2-4 weeks, a dermatomycosis of smooth skin – 3-4 weeks, an epidermophitia of feet – 4-6 weeks.
The usual duration of treatment in case of seborrheal dermatitis – 2-4 weeks. For maintenance therapy in seborrheal dermatitis cream is applied one or two times a week.

Side effects
– burning sensation, an erythema, an itching in the site of application
– hypersensitivity
– bleedings and discomfort in the injection site, irritation or paresthesia in the site of application, bullous rash, contact dermatitis, peeling of skin, stickiness of skin, xeroderma.
Very seldom
– a small tortoiseshell

of the Contraindication
– the known hypersensitivity

Medicinal interactions
At use of cream along with local glucocorticosteroids (GKS) or right after their prolonged use it is necessary to apply GKS to a ketokonazol or any of auxiliary components of drug in the morning (with gradual cancellation in case of need).

Special instructions
Only for external use. НИЗОРАЛ® cream of 2% cannot be applied in ophthalmologic practice. To prevent a withdrawal after the termination of long-term treatment by local corticosteroids, it is recommended to continue use of local corticosteroids in the morning and НИЗОРАЛ® cream of 2% in the evening, and then gradually, within 2-3 weeks, to cancel therapy by steroids.
If medicine became useless or the expiration date expired – do not squeeze out it in sewage and do not throw out on the street! Place medicine in a package and put in a garbage container. These measures will help to protect the environment!
Pregnancy and the period of a lactation
NIZORAL® Cream are not soaked up through skin, given about possible undesirable effects during pregnancy and a lactation it is not enough. Therefore during pregnancy and the period of a lactation to apply with care.
The feature of influence of medicine on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms
does not influence.

The overdose
Causing excessive amount of cream can cause development of an erythema, hypostasis and burning sensation which disappear after the therapy termination.
At accidental intake it is necessary to undergo the supporting and symptomatic therapy.

The form of release and packing
On 15 g of cream place in an aluminum tuba with the screw-on plastic cover.
On 1 tuba together with the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages place in a pack from cardboard.

To Store storage conditions at a temperature from 15 °C to 30 °C.
To store out of children’s reach!
