Pharmacological properties:

GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. It creates a balance between the processes of excitation and inhibition. Improves the conduction of nerve impulses in synapses. It activates metabolic and energy processes of the brain, eliminates cognitive impairments, expands and thereby eliminates spasm of cerebral vessels. GABA improves nerve conduction and eliminates spasm of the lower extremities. In patients with diabetes mellitus, it reduces the glucose content, with a normal blood glucose content, it has the opposite effect (due to glycogenolysis).

Glycine is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. Refers to nonessential amino acids. Accelerates the metabolic processes of the brain. Has a sedative effect. Has an anticonvulsant effect – reduces increased muscle tone. It activates brain functions, improves mental performance and memory.

Taurine is an antioxidant. Normalizes brain metabolism. Maintaining intracellular balance of Ca +, Mg +, K + and Na + ions improves organ function. Prevents the loss of K + and Mg + in the myocardium, helps the release of Na + from cells. Regulates the water-salt balance and thereby reduces blood pressure. In diabetic patients, it increases insulin sensitivity.

It has a nootropic, hypotensive, immunomodulatory, diuretic effect.

Valerian – eliminates nervousness and anxiety. Reduces the time of falling asleep, increases the duration of sleep. By influencing the automatism of the heart, it improves the work and nerve transmission of the heart. Expands the coronary vessels.

Ca and Mg – regulates the transmission of impulses between the nerve cells of the central nervous system. Expanding blood vessels improves microcirculation. Under conditions of oxygen deficiency, it increases the endurance of cardiomyocytes.

Components of plant origin reduce reflex excitement and thereby enhance the processes of inhibition in cortical and subcortical neurons, normalize sleep.

Contraindications

Doses of application

Vitason is taken in the morning.

• Adults and children over 12 years old: 1 tablet 1-2 times a day,
• Children from 1 to 3 years old – ¼ tablets once a day,
• Children from 3 to 12 years old – ½ tablet once a day.

Possible side effects

Occur in cases of overdose and manifest as dyspepsia.
