Structure
1 suppository contains
active agent – prostates extract (Samprost substance) 100 mg (in terms of water-soluble peptides of 20 mg),
excipient: fat firm (Vitepsol, brand H 15, W 35, Supposir, the brands NA 15, NAS 50) – before receiving a suppository weighing 1.25 g.
Description
Suppositories of color, white with yellowish, creamy or grayish shade, torpedo-shaped form. Emergence of a white plaque on a suppository surface is allowed.

the Pharmacodynamics
of Vitaprost® Forte is described possesses organotropic action on a prostate. Reduces degree of hypostasis, leukocytic infiltration of a prostate, normalizes secretory function of epithelial cells, increases number of lecithin grains in a secret of an acinus, stimulates a muscle tone of a bladder. Improves microcirculation in a prostate due to reduction of a thrombogenesis, antiagregantny activity, interferes with development of thrombosis of venules in a prostate.
Витапрост® Forte moderately reduces prostate volume. Drug reduces expressiveness of obstructive and irritativny symptomatology in a benign hyperplasia of a prostate that is expressed in increase the maximum and average volume flow rates of urine and reduction of volume of residual urine.
Витапрост® Forte improves microblood circulation in a bladder wall due to expansion of the intact vessels (effect of a vazodilatation), it promotes restoration of delivery of oxygen to the fabrics testing a hypoxia that stimulates a physiological reparation. Has anti-inflammatory effect due to improvement of processes of a trophicity of a wall of a bladder and stimulation of regenerator processes.
Activation of an organ blood-groove promotes improvement of adaptation and sokratitelny activity of a detruzor, increasing bladder capacity.
It is possible to explain with decrease in ischemia of a detruzor the significant decrease in hyperactivity of a bladder which continues also after the end of use Vitaprost® Forte.
Витапрост® Forte normalizes function of a prostate and structure of an ejaculate, promotes improvement of indicators of a spermogram (increases quantity, mobility and viability of spermatozoa, improves their morphology). Reduces the pain and discomfort caused by prostatitis, eliminates the dysuric phenomena, improves copulative function (strengthens a libido, improves an erection and duration of sexual intercourse, reduces a premature ejaculation).

– treatment of urgentny (imperative) incontinence of urine, urgentny (imperative) desires to urination and the speeded-up urination at uncomplicated forms of hyperactivity of a bladder at women in the climacteric and postclimacteric periods

Rektalno’s doses. On 1 suppository, after spontaneous bowel emptying or a cleansing enema, once a day. After introduction of a suppository, stay of the patient in a bed within 30-40 minutes is desirable.
Duration of a course of treatment is determined by the attending physician. The minimum duration of a course of treatment in a benign hyperplasia of a prostate – 15 days, in chronic prostatitis – 10 days, at a hyperactive bladder – 20 days.
