Structure
of 1 ml of drug contains
active agent – Tobramycinum of 3.0 mg,
excipients: a benzalkoniya chloride, dinatrium edetat, dihydrophosphate sodium monohydrate, dinatrium phosphate anhydrous, sodium chloride, the phosphoric acid diluted, water for injections.

Pharmacokinetics At properties topical administration system absorption low.
Tobramycinum is emitted quickly and extensively in urine by glomerular filtration, generally as not changed medicine. T1/2 from plasma of about 2 h with clearance of 0.04 l/hour/kg and of distribution of 0.26 l/kg. Binding of proteins of plasma Tobramycinum of less than 10%.
A pharmacodynamics
Tobrimed is an antibiotic of a broad spectrum of activity from group of aminoglycosides. In low concentration works bacteriostatically (blocks 30S a subunit of ribosomes and breaks protein synthesis), and in higher – bakteritsidno.
It is highly active concerning Staphylococcus spp. (including Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis/coagualase – negative and a coagualase – positive / and also the strains resistant to penicillin), Streptococcus spp. (including and-b-hemolytic types, some not hemolytic types, Streptococcus pneumoniae), Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Serratia spp., Providencia spp., Shigella spp., Citrobacter spp., Enterobacter aerogenes, Proteus mirabilis (an indole – negative) and an indole – positive types of Proteus spp., Hemophilius influenzae, Hemophilius aegyptius, Moraxella lacunata, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus (Herellea vaginacola), some types of Neisseria spp. (including Neisseria gonorrhoeae).

Indications
Treatment of the superficial bacterial infections of an eye caused by activators, sensitive to Tobrimed:
– blepharitis
– conjunctivitis
– a keratoconjunctivitis
– blefarokonjyunktivit, a keratitis
– an entophthalmia
– a dacryocystitis
– a meibomitis
Prevention of postoperative infectious complications in ophthalmology.

A route of administration and doses
Only for topical administration.
At not heavy infectious process, drug is dug in on 1-2 drops in a conjunctival sac of the affected eye (or an eye) by each 4 hours.
In case of development of acute heavy infectious process, drug is dug in by each 30-60 min. Course of treatment of 7-10 days.
In process of reduction of inflammation reduce the frequency of instillations of drug.

Medicinal interactions
As well as in a case with other drugs antibiotics, can lead prolonged use to the strengthened growth of irresponsive organisms, including, fungi. It is recommended to do crops before the end of treatment if clinical result unsatisfactory.
In case of co-administration of eye drops Tobrimed with system aminoglikozidny antibiotics, strengthening of side effects of system character (nephrotoxic, ototoksichesky action, disturbance of mineral exchange and a hematopoiesis) is possible.

Special instructions
it is not recommended to carry contact lenses during Tobrimed’s use.
It is necessary to avoid prolonged use because of danger of reproduction of microorganisms, insensitive to drug.
Pregnancy and lactation
Tobrimed pregnant women should appoint only in case of emergency when the efficiency of treatment justifies possible risk for a fruit.
For feeding by a breast it is necessary to interrupt treatment with eye drops Tobrimed at use of high doses or long treatment.
Features of influence of medicine on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms
Use of drug can cause a temporary disorder of vision therefore it is recommended to refuse driving of motor transport and control of mechanisms right after drug instillation.

The overdose
At topical administration overdose is improbable.
Treatment: it is necessary to wash out eyes plentiful amount of warm water.
