TobraDex® Indications: Blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis (without damage to the epithelium); prevention of postoperative infections.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva (including keratitis caused by Herpes simplex, chickenpox); eye tuberculosis; fungal diseases of the eyes; condition after removal of a foreign body of the cornea. With caution. Childhood, pregnancy, lactation.
Side effects: Allergic reactions (itching, swelling of the eyelids, conjunctival hyperemia); increased intraocular pressure; posterior subcapsular cataract, delayed wound healing; secondary infection.
Dosage and administration: Suspension: 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac, every 4-6 hours. Ointment: 1.5 cm strip into the conjunctival sac, 3-4 times a day. You can combine the use of ointment and suspension.
