Structure
One tablet contains
active agents: amylmetacresol – 0.60 mg
alcohol 2.4-dichlorbenzylic – 1.20 mg
excipients: peppermint oil, oil lemon (not containing terpenes), honey, quinolinic yellow (E 104), tartaric acid, sucrose liquid, glucose liquid.
The description
Yellow tablets of round shape with the image of letter S from two parties of a tablet. The white plaque, unevenness of coloring, existence of vials of air in caramel weight and insignificant roughness of edges is allowed.

2.4-dichlorbenzyl alcohol is derivative benzene, amylmetacresol is derivative phenol. Active components of drug are caused by local antiseptic and mestnoanesteziruyushchy effect. Strepsils with honey and a lemon eliminates symptoms of irritation of mucous membranes of upper airways, has dekongestivny effect on a mucous membrane, reduces congestion of a nose, alleviates irritation and a sore throat.
The mechanism of action Strepsils with honey and a lemon is connected with coagulation of proteins of microbic cells and also with interaction with lipids of cellular membranes that defines efficiency against activators. It is active concerning a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms and also possesses anti-mycotic action.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of a mouth and throat
the Route of administration and doses
For resorption in an oral cavity.
Adults: to rassasyvat slowly on 1 tablet each 2-3 hours. Not to take more than 12 pill within 24 hours.
People of advanced age: people of advanced age have no need for reduction of a dose. Course of treatment of 5-7 days.
Side effects
