Structure
One tablet contains
active agent – cetylpyridinium chloride of 1.2 mg,
excipients: liquid maltitol, maltitol, Mannitolum, left menthol, lemon essential oil, glitserol, castor oil, colloidal silicon dioxide anhydrous, magnesium stearate, povidone, dripped 600 pharm, titanium dioxide (E171), citric acid.
Септолете® (with cherry taste): cherry fragrance, carminic acid (E120), hydroxide sodium solution.
Септолете® (with apple taste): fragrance apple, dye chlorophyll copper (E141), gelatin, sucrose, water, dye curcumine (E100), sodium benzoate, acacias gum.
Септолете® (with lemon taste): fragrance citrus, fragrance lemon, orange oil, dye curcumine (E100), sodium benzoate, acacias gum, sucrose, water.

Quarternary ammonium connections contact a surface of a bacterial cell, get through a surface and contact a cytoplasmic membrane of a microorganism. As a result of this binding the cytoplasmic membrane becomes permeable for low-molecular connections, generally potassium ions. Септолете® has bactericidal effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is also effective concerning some lipophilic viruses and fungi. Thanks to the good moistening properties and low surface intention of Septolete® gets into folds and pockets of a mucous membrane where inhibits and destroys microorganisms.

Indications
– pharyngitis, laryngitis, a catarrhal angina (for topical administration)
– stomatitis, an ulitis
– at symptoms of cold and flu, such as pain and dryness in a throat,
hoarseness of a voice

the Route of administration and doses
the Recommended dose for adults and children are aged more senior than 12 years makes up to 8 tablets a day. The tablet has to thaw in a mouth. A pill is taken by each 2-3 hours.
The recommended dose for children aged is more senior than 4 years makes up to 4 tablets a day, and for children aged from 10 up to 12 years – up to 6 tablets a day. The tablet has to thaw in a mouth. A pill is taken by each 3 – 4 hours.
A pill should not be taken just before or during meal.

Medicinal interactions
of the Tablet should not be accepted with milk as it reduces antimicrobial activity chloride cetylpyridinium.
It is not recommended to accept with other antiseptic agents intended for resorption in an oral cavity.

Special indications
of the Tablet should not be accepted in the presence of open wounds in an oral cavity as the tsetipiridiniya chloride slows down healing of wounds.
In case of the heavy infections which are followed by high temperature, a headache and vomiting it is necessary to consult the doctor, especially if the state does not improve in 3 days.
Patients with diabetes have to remember that each pastil contains about 1 g of a maltitol. Insulin, but because of slow hydrolysis and absorption in the digestive tract (DT) the glycemic index low is necessary for metabolism of a maltitol. Energy value of a maltitol (10 kJ/g or 2.4 kcal/g) is also much lower, than at sucrose.

Overdose
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. High doses can cause diarrhea, especially in children.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, gastric lavage, performing symptomatic therapy.
