The instruction for medical use of Polioksidoniy® medicine the Trade name of Polioksidoniy® the International unlicensed name Azoksimera bromide the Dosage form Suppositories vaginal and rectal, 6 mg and 12 mg Structure One suppository contains active agent – an azoxymeasure bromide of 6 mg and 12 mg excipients: Mannitolum, povidone, cocoa butter the Description Suppositories of a torpedo-shaped form, light yellow color with a slight specific smell of cocoa butter. Suppositories have to be uniform. On a cut the existence of an air core or funneled deepening is allowed. Pharmacotherapeutic group Anti-neoplastic and immunomodulatory drugs. Immunostimulators. For prevention (monotherapy): – a recurrent herpes infection of an urogenital path – aggravations of the chronic centers of infections – flu and other acute respiratory infections during the preepidemic and epidemic period at immunokomprometirovanny persons – the secondary immunodeficiences arising owing to aging or influence of adverse factors. A course of treatment of 10 suppositories, – at a pulmonary form of tuberculosis suppositories of 12 mg of 1 times a day daily within 3 days, then every other day. Course of treatment of 20 suppositories. Further use of maintenance therapy by suppositories of 6 mg 2 times a week, a course up to 2-3 months is possible, – in complex therapy of oncological diseases when carrying out khimio- and radiation therapy suppositories of 12 mg daily in 2-3 days prior to the beginning of a course khimio- or radiation therapy. Further on 12 mg 2 times a week, a course up to 20 suppositories, – in the allergic diseases complicated by an infectious syndrome suppositories of 12 mg of 1 times a day daily. A course of treatment of 10 suppositories, – in a pseudorheumatism suppositories of 12 mg every other day. Course of treatment of 10 suppositories.
