Description
Plantex Granules for intake in bags on 5 g.
250 mg (7.7:1) dry water extracts of fruits of fennel and essential oil of fennel which contains not less than 0.5 mg of p-propenyl anisole and not less than 0.2 mg of fenchone contain structure of 5 g of granules of Plantex. Inactive ingredients: glucose, lactose.
Pharmacological properties
Fruits of fennel and essential oil of fennel stimulate digestion, increasing secretion of gastric juice and strengthening a vermicular movement. Therefore food is quicker split and soaked up. Active agents warn an accumulation of gases and promote their otkhozhdeniye, soften enterospasms.
Indications
of Plantex are recommended to be used at children since two weeks of life and more advanced age as means against a meteorism and elimination of spastic pains in intestines in weak digestive disturbances and also upon transition from breastfeeding to other types of food
the Route of administration and doses
Inside, after a meal, in breaks between receptions pishchinovorozhdyonny and children till 1 year: 1-2 bags (5-10 g) a day in 2-3 receptions. Children from 1 to 4 years: 2-3 bags (10-15 g) a day in 2-3 receptions. Solution preparation: to pour out bag contents in a small bottle or a cup, to add 100 ml of warm boiled water and to stir before full dissolution of granules.
Special instructions
For babies to use only freshly cooked solution. Not to add sweeteners.
Contraindications
Allergic reactions to any of drug components. As drug contains lactose and glucose, its use at children with a lactose intolerance, a syndrome of the broken galactose/glucose absorption, a galactosemia is not recommended. Now in pediatric practice of early age the diagnosis became very widespread: a lactose intolerance, put on the basis of increase in carbohydrates a calla.
