Pharmacological properties
Germs of wheat contain a significant amount of nutritious and biologically active agents. Extract of germs of wheat is an immodulyator which is capable to increase body resistance to action of negative external factors. In medicine extract of germs of wheat is used as the means having antiburn effect,
accelerating healing of wounds, ulcers and burns.
It is caused by influence of extract of germs of wheat on fibroblasts which play the main role in healing of wounds and activation of granulyatsionny process. Under the influence of extract of germs of wheat there is an increase in quantity of fibroblasts (increase in a mitosis) and penetration of fibroblasts into a wound, to increase in activity of an ornithinedecarboxylase and hydrolysis of phospholipid of inositol, increase in capacity of synthesis and release of glikozaminoglikan and collagenic fibers that plays a crucial role in the course of tightening of a wound. Thanks to the content of selenium and carotinoids which have antioxidant properties the germs of wheat interfere with action of free radicals. Thus extract of germs of wheat strengthens walls of vessels, prevents aging and appearance of tumors.
Ethylene glycol monoethyl ether – has antiseptic properties.
Indications
Topical treatment of diseases of skin in which updating of skin
– wounds and ulcer dystrophic changes is necessary, (varicose (circulator) ulcers, cracks, the period of healing of such postoperative wounds as circumcision (trimming), an epiziotomiya (episiotomy for the purpose of simplification of childbirth)
– eczemas and psoriaznopodobny signs (erythrodermic cases, a dermatosis, an allergic itching)
– all degrees of burns, open wounds, occupational diseases of skin, a skin crack
– for individuals at whom processes of updating of skin are slowed down, or changes for a number of reasons (aging, damages caused by cosmetics, a strip on a stomach and areolar (belonging to a peripapillary circle) cracks or nipple cracks.
A route of administration and doses
Outwardly on skin twice a day smooth massaging. It is applied to the place of a wound with spatula or other suitable device. After drawing a gauze bandage, it is recommended to apply cream on a bandage to keep smoothness and plasticity of use. At repeated use the place of a wound is washed with clear water. Cream can be completely dissolved in water.
