The instruction for medical use of Pankreazim Torgovoye medicine a name Pankreazim the International unlicensed name Is not present the Dosage form of the Tablet, covered with a kishechnorastvorimy cover Structure One tablet contains active agent – Pancreatinum powder of 240 mg that corresponds to activity not less – 5600 amylolytic PIECES of F.I.P., 8000 lipolytic PIECES of F.I.P., 370 proteolytic PIECES of F.I.P., excipients: sodium chloride, silicon dioxide colloidal, cellulose microcrystalline, kollidon CL, magnesium stearate, structure of a cover: methacrylic acid – ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) dispersions of 30%, talc, propylene glycol, the titan dioxide (E 171), karmoizin (E 122). The description of the Tablet round, biconvex, covered with a kishechnorastvorimy cover of pink color, with a slight specific smell. Pharmacotherapeutic group Drugs, digestant. Contains excretory pancreatic enzymes: lipase, alpha amylase, trypsin, chymotrypsin. The enzymes which are a part of Pancreatinum are released in the alkaline environment of a small intestine as are protected from effect of gastric juice by a cover. The lipase splits food fats – triglycerides on glycerin and higher fatty acids. Alpha amylase catalyzes splitting of polysaccharides (starch, a glycogen) to low-molecular carbohydrates. Trypsin inhibits stimulated secretion of a pancreas, causing analgesic effect of Pankreazim. Chymotrypsin together with trypsin participates in proteolysis of proteins of food. Indications – replacement therapy at vneshnesekretorny insufficiency of a pancreas (chronic pancreatitis, pancreatectomy) – disturbance of digestion of food (a state after radiation, resections of a stomach and a small intestine) – for improvement of digestion of food at persons with normal function of digestive tract in case of errors in food (consumption of greasy food, a large number of food, irregular food), at disturbances of chewing function, inactive lifestyle and a long immobilization – Remkheld’s syndrome (gastrocardial syndrome) – treatment and prevention of a meteorism at digestion process disturbance, before performing X-ray inspection of abdominal organs, prevention of gas generation in the postoperative period the Route of administration and doses appoint Pancreatinum the adult, inside, in time or after a meal, swallowing entirely, washing down with a large amount of liquid (water, fruit juice), 2-4 tablets 3-4 times a day. The dose is defined individually depending on extent of disturbance of digestion. Duration of treatment can vary of several days (at disturbance of process of digestion owing to errors in a diet) up to several months or years (in need of continuous replacement therapy). Side effects Often – nausea, vomiting, an abdominal pain, discomfort in a stomach, a constipation, diarrhea – increase in level of uric acid in blood plasma and urine at prolonged use in high doses is rare – allergic reactions (rash, an itching of skin) Contraindications – the increased individual sensitivity to Pancreatinum of pork origin or any other component of drug – acute pancreatitis – chronic pancreatitis in an aggravation stage – obstructive diseases of digestive tract (intestinal impassability, new growths) – the children’s and teenage age up to 18 years Medicinal interactions At a concomitant use decreases absorption of folic acid and iron preparations that demands increase in their dose. Pankreazim promotes reduction of effect of drugs of acarbose and a miglitol. Simultaneous use of the antiacid means containing calcium a carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide can lead to decrease in efficiency of Pancreatinum. Special instructions Before use of drug consult with the doctor! The dose has to be adequate to amount of enzymes which is necessary for absorption of fats taking into account quality and amount of the consumed food. Pregnancy and the period of a lactation Are not present data on toxic action on reproductive function and fetation. To appoint to Pankreazy pregnant women only if the advantage for mother exceeds risk for a fruit. It is necessary to be careful when prescribing drug in the period of a lactation. Features of influence of medicine on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms Administration of drug does not affect ability of the patient to control of the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms. Overdose Symptoms: diarrhea, constipations, hyper uricosuria, hyperuricemia. Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.
