The instruction for medical use of Otrizol-DF medicine the Trade name of Otrizol-DF the International unlicensed name Xylomethazolinum Dosage Form Spray of Nasal 0.1% with menthol and an eucalyptus, 10 ml Structure of 100 ml of drug contains active agent – xylomethazolinum a hydrochloride of 0.1 g, excipients: dihydrophosphate sodium a dihydrate, phosphate dinatrium dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, a benzalkoniya chloride, dinatrium edetat, left menthol, cineole, sorbitol, liquid crystallizing 70%, castor oil, polioksit hydrogenated (RH 40 cremophore), water cleaned. The left menthol and an eucalyptus which are contained in drug have the cooling effect on a mucous membrane of a nose. In therapeutic concentration does not irritate mucous, does not cause hyperaemia. Action comes in 5 – 10 minutes, and remains for 6-8 hours, the spasm of blood vessels remains till 8-10 o’clock.
