Structure
One tablet contains
active agent – gimekromon 200 mg
excipients: potato starch, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate.

The description
of the Tablet of round shape, with a flat surface, color, white or white with a yellowish shade, with an engraving on one party the letters Ch, with a diameter from 8.8 to 9.3 mm.

the Pharmacological

Pharmacokinetics At properties intake gimekromon is easily soaked up from a digestive tract. The maximum concentration in blood serum is reached in 2-3 hours. Elimination half-life makes about 1 hour of blood serum.
Gimekromon is brought with urine, about 93% in the form of the glyukuronat, 1.4% – sulphonate, 0.3% make not changed gimekromon.
The pharmacodynamics
Odeston is derivative coumarin. Drug affects spasmolytically smooth muscles of bile ducts and Oddiyev of a sphincter, increases biliation and accelerates its removal on bile ducts. It reduces stagnation of bile and the related indispositions, increases removal of cholesterol and complicates formation of deposits and gallstones. Does not reduce secretory activity of iron of a digestive tract and processes of intestinal absorption.

Indications
as a part of complex therapy at: treatment of spasms of biliary tract, dyskinesia, dispeptic disturbances
– functional disturbances of bile ducts at patients with uncomplicated cholelithiasis, after a gall bladder and bile ducts surgeries
– the lack of appetite, nausea, constipations connected with the lowered biliation.

The route of administration and doses
Adults and children are more senior than 14 years: 200-400 mg (1-2 tablets) for half an hour before food three times a day.
Children at the age of 10-14 years: 200 mg (1 tablet) for half an hour before food three times a day.
To take the drug within 2-3 weeks.

Side effects
– diarrhea
– feeling of completeness or pressure in an abdominal cavity
– allergic reactions
– a meteorism, in pain

the Contraindication stomach
– hypersensitivity to a gimekromon or to any other component of drug
– impassability of biliary tract
– an acute liver/renal failure
– patients with purulent inflammation of a large intestine and Crohn’s disease
– nonspecific ulcer colitis, a peptic ulcer of a stomach and 12 perstny guts
– children’s age up to 10 years

Medicinal interactions
Morphine weakens action of a gimekromon.
At joint reception of a gimekromon and Metoclopramidum there is a weakening of effect of both drugs.

The special
instructions Pregnancy and the period of a lactation
Are not present data on safety of use of Odeston during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Prescribing of drug is not recommended to pregnant women and nursing mothers by a breast.
The feature of influence of medicine on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms
does not influence.

On 10 tablets place in blister strip packaging from a film of polyvinylchloride and aluminum foil or on 50 tablets place in the polyethylene bottle corked polyethylene up with a seal.
On a polyethylene bottle paste the label self-adhesive of paper label.
On 2, 5 or 10 blister strip packagings or on 1 polyethylene bottle together with the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages put in a cardboard pack.
