Passion flower extract contains alkaloids and a flavanoid – vitexin, has a mild sedative effect on the central nervous system, promotes sleep recovery, reduces anxiety and nervousness, has an antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles, improves heart function, and has a sedative effect.

Hawthorn extract contains flavonoids, choline, acetylcholine, tannins, phytoserines, etc. Due to the presence of triterpene compounds and flavonoids, it has an antispasmodic effect, selectively expanding the vessels of the heart and brain; hypotensive effect; contributes to the normalization of venous pressure, improves the function of the vascular walls. It has a mild sedative effect.

Lemon balm extract contains 0.1-0.3% essential oil, the main components of which are citronellal, geraniol, citral, citronellol, linalool, phenylpropanoids, chloragenic and caffeic acids. This sedative has anxiolytic, antidepressant, antispasmodic, immunomodulatory, antiviral, antiallergic and antimicrobial properties. A wide range of therapeutic effects of lemon balm preparations is due to the content of various biologically active substances shown above: a pronounced sedative effect – citronellal, antispasmodic properties – geraniol and citronellol, phenylpropanoids (rosemary, coffee, chlorogenic and other hydroxycinnamic acids) should be considered as responsible for antiviral, immunomodulatory antihistamine, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. The plant is recommended as an antiemetic for pregnant women, a diuretic and an appetite enhancer.

Magnesium is an inorganic element that is present in all cells of the body in its normal state. Magnesium is an essential element for cell life and is involved in most metabolic reactions. From a physiological point of view, magnesium is a cation of predominant intracellular localization. Magnesium ions reduce the excitability of neurons, play an important physiological role in maintaining the ionic balance in muscles, slow down neuromuscular transmission, and participate in many enzymatic reactions. Magnesium deficiency in the body is manifested by muscle weakness, tremors, tetany, ataxia, increased reflex excitability, irritability, sleep disorders, heart rhythm disturbances with extrasystoles or tachycardia, disorders of the digestive tract with diarrhea. Deficiency can be primary due to congenital impairment of magnesium metabolism and secondary due to lack of intake, as well as due to poor gastrointestinal absorption, excessive renal excretion and with an increase in the need for magnesium (with increased physical and mental stress, stress, pregnancy).

Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) as a coenzyme is involved in many metabolic processes, in the regulation of the metabolism of the nervous system. Promotes faster absorption of magnesium from the gastrointestinal tract, penetration and retention of magnesium in cells.
