contains nasal Structure of 1 ml of drug:
active agent – oxymetazoline a hydrochloride of 0.5 mg,
excipients – left menthol, camphor racemic, cineole (eucalyptole), a benzalkoniya chloride, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, dihydrophosphate sodium a dihydrate, phosphate dinatrium a dihydrate, edetat dinatrium a dihydrate, the acid chlorohydrogen concentrated, the water purified.
The description
Transparent, colourless solution with a slight smell of menthol, an eucalyptus and camphor.

Pharmacological properties
of Oxymetazoline a hydrochloride is a synthetic adrenomimetik. Stimulating a-adrenoceptors of vessels, it has long vasoconstrictive effect. Reduces hyperaemia of fabrics and puffiness of mucous membranes of a nasal cavity, adnexal bosoms and an Eustachian tube, thereby restoring the nasal breath broken in flu, catarrhal and allergic diseases.
Simplification of nasal breath comes in 5-10 minutes after injection in a nasal cavity and about 12 hours last.
Menthol, camphor, eucalyptole render local antiedematous, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic action, dilute dense slime and improve its outflow from near-nasal bosoms and also promote increase in duration of effect of drug.
The glycols which are contained in drug have the softening and moistening effect on the angry mucous membrane of a nasal cavity and protect it from excessive drying.
Indications
– in catarrhal diseases, flu, a SARS
– for symptomatic treatment of acute rhinitis, antritis and other sinusitis (the frontal sinusitis, etmoidit).
A route of administration and doses
Make injection serially in each nasal course, at injection do not throw back the head back.
To adults and children 12 years are more senior to make 2 injections in each nasal course.
Children are 6-12 years old (under observation of adults) on 1 injection.
To repeat injections not earlier than in 12 hours.
Treatment duration usually does not exceed 3 days.
Duration of a course of treatment can be prolonged up to 7-10 days twice a day under observation of the doctor.
Side effect
Sometimes:
– feeling burning or dryness of nasal covers, sneezing, increase in volume of the secret which is allocated from a nose.
Seldom:
– a headache,
– fatigue (fatigue),
– swelling and hypostasis of a mucous membrane (feeling of congestion of a nose) can become more intensive (reactive hyperemia).
At frequent and prolonged use of drug there can be manifestations of a tachyphylaxis – gradual easing of vasoconstrictive effect, sometimes with the vazodilatation phenomena, resuming or strengthening of cold.
Contraindications
– hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline or to any excipient
– a concomitant use of MAO inhibitors
– atrophic rhinitis
– arterial hypertension, the profound atherosclerosis, a tachyarrhythmia
– closed-angle glaucoma
– a hyperthyroidism, diabetes
– a pheochromocytoma
– the profound renal failures, the complicated urination, a prostatauxe
– children’s age up to 6 years
Medicinal interactions
at the same time or directly before use of oxymetazoline can lead Intake of tricyclic antidepressants or MAO-inhibitors to increase in arterial blood pressure.
Special instructions

Hypostasis which remains after three days of treatment can mean that there are disturbances of a nasal partition, maxillary purulent sinusitis, adenoides, allergic rhinitis, persistent bacterial infection or are available other not revealed diseases. Pregnancy and lactation

The overdose
Exceeding the recommended dose can cause pain or burning, sneezing and increase in departments from nasal pass. At excess doses, especially at prolonged use, tachycardia (increase of pulse), increase in arterial blood pressure can be observed.

On 15 ml of drug place in bottles from mix of polyethylene of low and high density, with the spray adapter (nozzle and a submersible pipe) from polyethylene of low density and the polypropylene screw-on cap.
On 10 ml bottles from polyethylene of high density equipped with the doser with the polypropylene spray and a polyethylene cover.
On 1 bottle together with the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages place in a pack from cardboard.
