the Pharmacological

Pharmacokinetics Practically properties is not soaked up from digestive tract. After accidental ingestion of 300 mg of Cmax (maximum concentration) it is reached in 30 min. and makes 0.206 mkg/l. It is removed generally with stool (90%), less than 1% are allocated with urine.
The pharmacodynamics
of Miraksidin-DF® is antiseptic and disinfectant. On chemical structure it is close to bigumalyu and is to dichlorine-containing derivatives of biguanide. The mechanism of action is based on its ability to change properties of a cellular membrane of a microorganism. After dissociation of salts of a chlorhexidin the formed cations react with the cover of bacteria having a negative charge. At the same time lipophilic groups of drug promote disaggregation of a lipoprotein membrane of bacteria owing to what there is a disturbance of osmotic balance and loss of potassium and phosphorus from a cell of a bacterium. Under the influence of drug there is a destruction of a cytoplasmic membrane of a bacterium and disturbance of its osmotic balance owing to what there occurs death of a bacterium.
Has bactericidal effect at a temperature +22os and influence within 1 min. Has fungicide and virulitsidny effect at a temperature +22os and influence within 10 min.
Drug is active concerning vegetative forms of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria in the form of monocultures and microbic associations, including hospital strains with polyresistance to antibiotics. It is effective concerning causative agents of venereal diseases: treponemas, gonokokk, trichomonads, chlamydias, herpes. Affects spores of bacteria only at the increased temperature. Does not affect acid resisting forms of bacteria.
Has antifungal effect on ascomycetes, barmy mushrooms, dermatophytes.
Keeps activity (though a little reduced) in the presence of blood, pus, various secretion and organic substances.

Indications
– postoperative processing of a wound surface in otorhinolaryngology and stomatology
– processing of purulent wounds, burn surfaces, bacterial and fungus diseases of skin and mucous membranes in stomatology (ulitis, stomatitis, afta, a periodontal disease, an alveolitis), surgery, urology, obstetrics and gynecology
– processing of the infected scrapes and cracks of skin
– individual prevention of bacterial, fungus diseases after visit of public places (pools, saunas)

the Route of administration and doses
of Мираксидин-DF® 0.05% apply spray as preventive and remedy outwardly and locally in the form of irrigations, appliques (with exposure of 1-3 min.) 2-3 times a day on the struck surface of skin or mucous membranes:
Adult:
– at postoperative patient care in departments the ENT SPECIALIST and stomatology of Miraksidin-DF® appoint in the form of irrigations 2-3 times a day
– at treatment of stomatitis, ulitis, an afta, a periodontal disease, an alveolitis it is necessary to carry out irrigation of the inflamed mucous membrane of an oral cavity or to carry out applique by the tampon moistened with drug
– when processing integuments, wounds and ulcers Miraksidin-DF® spray spray on affected areas in the quantity sufficient for their moistening or moisten with it a tampon and put to a wound or an ulcer
– for individual prevention of bacterial, fungus diseases after visit of public places (pools, saunas) spray Miraksidin-DF® spray on the clean and dry surface of skin of hands and legs in the quantity sufficient for their moistening or moisten with it a tampon and wipe
to Children and teenagers there are from 3rd to 18 years:
– at treatment of stomatitis, ulitis, an afta, a periodontal disease, alveolitis it is necessary to carry out only applique on the inflamed mucous membrane of an oral cavity by the tampon moistened with drug
– when processing integuments, wounds and ulcers Miraksidin-DF® spray is sprayed on affected areas in the quantity sufficient for their moistening or moisten with it a tampon and put to a wound or an ulcer

Duration of use it is caused by the nature of a disease, its expressiveness and is defined by the doctor.
At treatment of diseases of an oral cavity it is necessary to use drug after meal.
It is not necessary to use Miraksidinom-DF® for processing of a conjunctiva and for washing of perigastriums, processing of deep wounds and burns.
It is necessary to use drug carefully, avoiding hit in airways!

Medicinal interactions
of Miraksidin-DF® is not compatible to soap and also to the detergents containing anion group (saponins, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose). Let’s combine with the drugs containing cationic group (a benzalkoniya chloride, a tsetrimoniya bromide).
It is not compatible to carbonates, chlorides, citrates, phosphates, sulfates, creating almost insoluble precipitation after 24 hours.
Increases sensitivity of bacteria to chloramphenicol, Kanamycinum, Neomycinum, cephalosporins.
Ethanol enhances antiseptic activity of drug.
At simultaneous use with drugs of iodine the development of dermatitis is possible.

Special instructions
not to apply at patients with an open craniocereberal injury, injuries of a spinal cord, perforation of a tympanic membrane because of risk of hit of drug on the surface of a brain, a meninx and in a drum cavity.
It is not necessary to mix Miraksidin-DF® with other medicines.
At external use of drug it is recommended to apply it to clean dry skin, having carefully washed away residues of soap.
It is not necessary to use Miraksidinom-DF® for processing of a conjunctiva and for washing of perigastriums, processing of deep wounds and burns.
Not to treat clothes which were in contact with drug to action of hypochlorites, etc. the connections emitting active chlorine because of a possibility of emergence on them brown spots.
In case of hit on mucous membranes of their eyes it is necessary to wash quickly and carefully with water.

To Children and teenagers from 3rd to 18 years Miraksidin-DF® spray in the form of irrigations to apply children’s age only when processing integuments, wounds and ulcers. At treatment of diseases of an oral cavity to apply by means of tampons.

To Nursing mothers and pregnant women to apply pregnancy and the period of a lactation with care because of risk of development of allergic reactions!
Features of influence of medicine on ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms
Drug does not affect ability to run the vehicle or potentially dangerous mechanisms.

Overdose
Symptoms: there are no data on overdose by drug.
Treatment: at accidental hit in the drug Miraksidin-DF® it is necessary to make gastric lavage, using milk, crude egg, gelatin or a large amount of water and to accept adsorbents (activated carbon). If necessary to carry out symptomatic therapy.

The form of release and packing
On 50 ml or 100 ml of drug spill in plastic bottles with a raspylitelny nozzle and a protective cap. On one bottle together with the instruction for medical use in the state and Russian languages place in a pack cardboard.
