A pharmacodynamics
of the Lactobacillus – the genus of bacteria of the Lactobacillaceae family combining the gram-positive motionless asporous anaerobic lactobacilli decomposing carbohydrates with lactification. The acidic environment created by them contributes to the development of the bifidobacteria making 85-95% of an intestinal biocenosis and other normal microflora of a human body.
Lactobacilli of Lactobacillus rhamnosus R0011 and Lactobacillus acidophilus R0052 are slowly brought from intestines – in 7-15 days after the end of preventive or treatment course Latsidofila ® – WM.
In the course of normal metabolism of a lactobacillus are capable to form lactic acid, to produce lysozyme, other substances with antibiotic activity: plantaritsin, laktotsidin, lactolin. Thanks to products of organic acids, bacteriocines (high-molecular antibiotics), many strains of lactobacilli show the significant antagonistic activity concerning pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, providing resistance zheludochno – an intestinal path to action of pathogenic microorganisms. They show antimicrobic action concerning such pathogenic microorganisms as E. Coli, H. Influenzae, Campilobacter jejuni, Salmonella, Shigella, streptococcus, Staphylococcus aureus, Helicobacter pylori due to suppression of their growth and adhesion to enterocytes.
Lactobacilli can participate in process of the proteolysis, fats and complex carbohydrates, metabolism of bile acids and also synthesis of vitamins K and groups B.
Lactobacilli are capable to activate cell-mediated immunity and production of immunoglobulins. The immunostimulating property of lactobacilli is connected with presence at their cell wall of the peptiglikan and teykhoyevy acids possessing immunomodulatory action.
As advantage of these strains of lactobacilli serves the high resistance to influence of gastric juice and bile acids, so later 30 minute stay in acidic environment of a stomach about 80% of both microorganisms survived (lactobacillus rhamnosus Rosell, lactobacillus acidophilus Rosell). Contained in Latsidofil ® – WM of a bacterium have ability to be attached to receptors of an intestinal wall and to remain in a live look up to 7-15 days.
Indications
– the dysbacteriosis which developed in time and after treatment by antibiotics (for restoration and normalization of intestinal microflora)
– a syndrome of insufficiency of digestion (diarrhea, a meteorism, constipations), dyspepsia
– bacterial infections of a gastro intestinal path (as a part of complex therapy)
– treatment of tranzitorny dysfunctions of intestines (both diarrhea, and a constipation),
connected with change of a diet, trips and other reasons
– increase in immunity and general body resistance to infections.
The route of administration and doses
of the Capsule accept with a small amount of water of room temperature at meal time.
For children aged from 3 up to 6 years the capsule it is possible to open and mix its contents with water or food of room temperature.With the preventive purpose for maintenance of normal intestinal microflora: to children of 6 months on 1 capsule every other day, to children of 3 years is also more senior on 1 capsule once a day, the adult on 1–2 capsules a day. Duration of reception is 20 days. For the purpose of prevention and treatment of the diarrhea connected with reception of antibiotics (including the caused Clostridium difficile stick), Latsidofil appoint for 2 h to or after reception of antibiotics.
To children: 6-12 months – on 1 capsule a day, in 1 – 3 years – on 1 capsule 2 times a day, 3–12 years – on 1 capsule 2–3 times a day, are more senior than 12 years and the adult — on 1–2 capsules 3 times a day. Duration of reception is defined by the term of use of antibiotics, or before disappearance of symptoms of a disease. Further it is possible to pass to preventive administration of drug (see above). In the tranzitorny dysfunction of intestines (both diarrhea, and a constipation) connected with change of a diet, travel and other reasons, to children of 6 – 12 months – on 1 capsule once a day, to children of 1 – 3 years – on 1 capsule 2 times a day, to children 3 years – on 1 capsule 3 times a day before disappearance of symptoms, the adult – on 1–2 capsules 3 times a day before disappearance of symptoms are more senior. Then the preventive mode of administration of drug can be used.

Contraindications
– individual hypersensitivity on drug components.
Use of drug in the presence of the known allergy to milk and soy is not recommended.
Medicinal interactions
Prescription of antibiotics (per os) along with Latsidofil ® – WM reduces its efficiency therefore the drug needs to be taken in two hours prior to or after reception of antibiotics.
At simultaneous use of lactobacilli with vitamins (especially groups B) effect of drug amplifies.
Special instructions
For the following groups of patients carry out pro-biotic therapy only under observation of the doctor:
– patients with intolerance of sugars,
– patients with the broken or suppressed immune system, especially at late stages of AIDS or the patients with allografts and also who received chemotherapy
– the patients who are ill Endo – or myocarditis, the transferred surgeries on the gastro intestinal highway,
– patients with an acute disorder of function of a pancreas, including patients with diabetes of the I type. A probiotics is capable to improve process of digestion of sugar and, thereby, to cause insulin shock in patients. At reception of probiotics the glucose level has to be measured in blood constantly, and the insulin dose respectively to decrease,
– the children with a syndrome of a short gut suffering from D – laktatsidozy. It is necessary to take measures to prevent producing D – a lactate bacterial strains.
In all above-mentioned cases the favorable action of probiotics exceeds possible risk.
