Structure
One tablet contains
active agents: gland sulfate anhydrous – 320 mg that

ascorbic acid – 60 mg,
excipients: kopovidon (kollidon VA-64), sodium salt of carboxymethylcellulose, potato starch, atsetilftaliltsellyuloza, stearic acid, calcium stearate,
structure of a cover: hydroksipropilmetiltsellyuloza, titan E171 dioxide, polysorbate 80 (twin-80), liquid paraffin, ponso 4R.

Pharmacokinetics Prolonged properties release of ions of bivalent iron interferes with undesirable increase in maintenance of ions of iron in digestive tract and prevents their irritant action on a mucous membrane. Absorption of iron comes from digestive tract slowly as release of its ions from a matrix comes during 6 h (at first from a blanket of a plastic matrix of the spongy building, then – from other, deeper layers) and does not depend from rn Wednesdays, effects of enzymes of a stomach and intestines.
The pharmacodynamics
the Combined drug, has antianemic effect. Iron is necessary for activity of an organism: it is a part of hemoglobin, a myoglobin, various enzymes. Reversibly connects oxygen and participates in a number of redoxreactions, stimulates an erythrogenesis.
Gland sulfate compensates for the iron deficiency of an organism. Ascorbic acid improves absorption of iron from digestive tract.

Indications
– treatment of an iron deficiency anemia of various etiology (at insufficient intake of iron in an organism with food, at the increased need of an organism for iron, at chronic blood loss)
– prevention of an iron deficiency anemia (including at pregnancy and the lactation period, at children and teenagers during intensive growth, poor nutrition, at the children who were born premature at adults and children with reduced immunity in infectious diseases, tumors)

the Route of administration and doses
Inside, without chewing, in 30 min. prior to food, washing down 100 ml of liquid. After normalization of indicators of hemoglobin the treatment is carried out within 1-3 months before full saturation of depot of iron in an organism. For treatment of an iron deficiency anemia by the adult and to teenagers 12 years are more senior appoint on 1 tablet 2 times a day in the morning and in the evening. At development of side effects it is necessary to reduce a dose to 1 tablet once a day. For prevention of an iron deficiency anemia and also in anemia in the I and II trimesters of pregnancy appoint on 1 tablet once a day, in the III trimester – on 1 tablet 2 times a day. In the period of a lactation appoint on 1 tablet 2 times a day. Duration of treatment is determined individually under control of level of hemoglobin and iron in plasma.

Medicinal interactions
At the simultaneous use of the drug Ferrovit and antiacid means containing aluminum, magnesium, calcium and also the drugs containing Colestyraminum, absorption of iron from a gastrointestinal step decreases.
At simultaneous use of drug and antibiotics of group of tetracycline and also D-Penicillaminum the complex connections reducing absorption both iron, and antibiotics are formed. At simultaneous use with glucocorticosteroids strengthening of stimulation of an erythrogenesis drug is possible.

Special instructions
With care are appointed in a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum.
For prevention of emergence on teeth of patients of a reversible black stain of a drop of drug it is not necessary to accept in an undiluted look, after meal recommend to brush teeth carefully.
At administration of drug the calla in dark (black) color which has no clinical value is noted coloring.
Use in pediatrics
For use to children up to 12 years exists a dosage form in the form of syrup.
Pregnancy and the period of a lactation
At the established deficiency of iron in an organism at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation (breastfeeding) use of drug is considered reasonable and safe.
Features of influence of medicine on ability to run motor transport and other potentially dangerous mechanisms
Drug does not affect ability to run motor transport and other potentially dangerous mechanisms.

Overdose
Symptoms: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cyanosis, confusion of consciousness, hyperventilation symptoms.
Treatment: to cause vomiting, to wash a stomach of 1% with aqueous solution of sodium of bicarbonate or to appoint Deferoxaminum, to take inside crude eggs and milk that will provide binding of ions of iron in digestive tract and their subsequent removal.
