Structure
One tablet contains
active agents: left menthol of 6.00 mg, oil eucalyptus 5.50 mg,
excipients: saccharin, sorbitol, magnesium stearate, aromatic additive honey, dye quinoline yellow, indigo dye carmine.

The pharmacological
Pharmacokinetics In view of properties of complexity of structure, pharmacokinetics of all components it is not studied. The main component of eucalyptus oil, 1.8 cineole, after absorption is partially removed by lungs in not changed look, partially metabolized in a liver with formation of hydroxylated derivatives which conjugate with glucuronic acid and are removed through kidneys.
Menthol: after absorption it is partially removed through lungs, other part is metabolized in a liver with formation of glucuronic conjugates which are removed through kidneys with bile.
The pharmacodynamics
Eucalyptus oil contains radio oil-cineole, tannins, organic acids, bitterness, aldehydes (isovalerianic, cuminic and caprylic), flavonoids.
Eucalyptus oil possesses antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, soothing, wound healing, expectorant action.
Eucalyptus oil has the stimulating impact on receptors of mucous membranes, has also weak local activity.
When drawing on mucous membranes menthol causes the irritation of nerve terminations which is followed by feeling of cold, easy burning and pricking, has the easy local anesthetizing effect, has also antiseptic properties.
Analgeziruyushchy effect of drug comes in 15-30 minutes after reception.
Indications
– inflammatory diseases of upper airways and a throat (pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis) as a part of complex therapy.
The route of administration and doses
of the Tablet should be rassasyvat in a mouth, without chewing. The drug should be taken between meals.
Adult: on 1 tablet 3-4 times a day.
Duration of treatment should not exceed 5 days.
