Pharmacokinetics At properties external use terbinafin has extremely low system activity as in a system blood stream less than 5% of a terbinafin are soaked up. Terbinafin quickly gets through skin and collects in sebaceous glands, high concentrations are created in hair follikuly and hair.
The pharmacodynamics
Terbinafin represents allylamine and has a wide range of antifungal action. The mechanism of action is connected with specific oppression of an early stage of biosynthesis of sterols in a cellular membrane of mushrooms.
It results in deficiency of ergosterol and to intracellular accumulation of squalene that causes death of cells of a mushroom. Erbinol’s action is carried out by skvalenepoksidaza enzyme inhibition in a cellular membrane of a mushroom. This enzyme does not belong to the system of P450 cytochrome therefore Erbinol does not influence metabolism of hormones or other medicines.
Erbinol has fungicide effect on dermatophytes (Trichophyton rudrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. tonsurans, T. violaceum, Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton floccosum), on mold (including Aspergillus, Cladosporium, Scopulariopsis drevicaulis) and some dimorphous mushrooms.
Action on barmy mushrooms of the sort Candida (in the main Candida albicans) can be fungicidal or fungistatic depending on a species of a mushroom. At topical administration Erbinol is active also concerning Pityrosporum orbiculare (Malassezia furfur) – scaly (multi-colored) depriving of the activator.

Indications
– fungal infections of skin: mycoses of feet, an epidermophitia inguinal (tinea cruris), fungal infections of smooth skin of a body (tinea corporis) caused by dermatophytes (Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton verrucosum, Trichophyton violaceum, Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum) and also a pathogenic mushroom of Pityrosporum orbiculare (Malassezia furfur)
– multi-colored deprive,

Drug is applied to skin by 1-2 times a day. Before putting spray it is necessary to clean and dry affected areas. Drug is sprayed on affected areas in the quantity sufficient for their careful moistening and, besides, applied on adjacent sites as struck, and intact skin.
Duration of treatment depends on indications and weight of a course of the disease.
Average duration of treatment:
– a dermatomycosis of a trunk, shins – 1 week (1–2 times a day),
– a dermatomycosis of feet – 1 week (1–2 times a day),
– multi-colored deprive – 1–2 weeks (2 times a day),
Reduction of expressiveness of clinical manifestations are usually celebrated in the first days of treatment. In case of irregular treatment or its premature termination there is a risk of resuming of an infection. If in 2 weeks of treatment signs of improvement are not noted, it is necessary to carry out verification of the diagnosis.

It is necessary to avoid hit of drug in eyes and on mucous membranes. At accidental hit of drug in eyes, they should be washed immediately with flowing water, and in case of development of the resistant phenomena of irritation it is necessary to consult with the doctor.
It is necessary to be careful when drawing Erbinol on the damaged sites of skin as alcohol can cause irritation.
At treatment by Erbinol it is necessary to follow the general rules of hygiene for prevention of a possibility of repeated infection (through linen, footwear).
