Structure
of 1 g of gel contains
active agent – diclofenac of diethyl amine of 11.6 mg (it is equivalent
to sodium diclofenac) 10 mg
excipients: chlorcresol, light liquid paraffin, trietanolamine, carbomer 940, dinatrium edetat, benzyl alcohol, sodium sulfite anhydrous, propylene glycol, polysorbate 80, a lavender wild, isopropyl alcohol, the water purified.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for topical administration.

Pharmacokinetics At properties topical administration of drug is adsorbed no more than 6% of diclofenac. At local putting drug of 99.7% of diclofenac contacts proteins of serum and generally (99.4%) albumine. Elimination half-life of diclofenac makes 1-2 hours, is removed mainly with urine.

NPVP pharmacodynamics, derivative phenylacetic acid, has anti-inflammatory and analgetic effect. Not selectively oppressing type cyclooxygenase 1 and 2, breaks metabolism of arachidonic acid.
Diklogen is used for elimination of a pain syndrome and reduction of puffiness connected with inflammatory process.

Indications
Traumatic the caused inflammations of sinews, ligaments, muscles and joints (as a result of stretchings, at loading and bruises).
As a part of complex therapy at:
– a pseudorheumatism, psoriasis arthritis
– juvenile chronic arthritis
– gouty arthritis
– an ankylosing spondylitis
– rheumatic defeat of soft tissues

the Route of administration and doses
Only for external use!
Diklogen gel is applied at adults and children from 12 years.
On – 2-4 g (size about walnut or cherry), depending on the area of the painful center, apply 3-4 times a day on affected areas and carefully pound (it is possible to apply to strengthening of effect together with other dosage forms of diclofenac), after drawing it is necessary to wash up hands. Duration of treatment is 6-7 days.

Side effects
– an itching, a dermahemia, rash, burning
– at long use – generalized skin rash, a bronchospasm, a Quincke’s disease, a photosensitization.

Contraindications
– hypersensitivity to drug
– GIT erosive cankers (in an aggravation phase)
– aspirinovy bronchial asthma
– hemopoiesis disturbance
– pregnancy, the lactation period
– children’s age up to 12 years
– disturbance of integrity of integuments.
With care: the induced sharp hepatic porphyrias, heavy
abnormal liver functions and kidneys, heart failure, bronchial asthma, advanced age.

Medicinal interactions
Diclofenac can strengthen effect of the drugs causing a photosensitization.

Special instructions
Apply only on the intact sites of skin. After imposing
it is not necessary to apply an occlusive bandage.
When drawing on the big surfaces of skin the risk of development of system side effects increases for a long time. It is necessary to avoid hit of drug in eyes, on mucous membranes or open wounds.
